Do you want your site to rank on Google?
Have you ever paid someone gobs of money and got zero results?

Well today I’m going to show you 3 simple steps to SEO’ing your WordPress website that almost no one is doing.

Disclaimer: If you’re in a niche industry or in a local marketing, the techniques you’ll learn today will have huge results very quickly. If you’re in a more competitive industry, it will probably take more work.

There is a lot involved in a comprehensive SEO program but there are really 3 major steps that you can do on your own to jump start your SEO and get your site super ranked super fast. Now the steps are basically the same no matter where your website is hosted but I’ll be showing you how to do it using a wordpress site.

Wanna learn now?

Ok, here are the 3 steps: first, optimize your pages. Then create an XML site map, then submit that sitemap to google. Let’s jump on my computer to take a look at how we do all this.

1:27 Optimization with Yoast plugin tool for WordPress SEO
I’ve already selected the keywords so I know what I’m optimizing for. Im going to take the first 5 pages of my website, go into the editor and make sure I’m optimized for that keyword.

Go through Yoast.
Create hyperlinks to other content!!

3:22 Ok, now that we’ve got 5 pages optimized, what we’re going to do is create an XML sitemap

An XML sitemap is a file that helps Google understand your website more productively. Lets shoot back to my screen for a walk through on how to do that.

I use this tool…yoast seo plugin to save it on desktop
More info here: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/

4:30 Now once we’ve created that sitemap, we’re going to upload it into your Google Webmaster Account. This will immediately activate the search engine bots called Spiders to crawl your site and establish that credibility. Give a little bit of time and check Google again to see where you’re ranking. You can also go to SERPS.com and find out where your page is ranking for those keywords.

SEO is perhaps one of the most complicated online marketing strategies out
there: the techniques are always changing, SEO companies are full of #$%&
and wind, and if you make one little mistake your website may be banned
from the Google Book of Life, right?

While it’s true that SEO can be complicated, there are also timeless
strategies that will work no matter what new exotic algorithm changes
    Google may introduce.

In this video, I’m going to give you three tips for WordPress SEO that will
help you to rank your pages for the right keywords.
