So today’s topic is very near and dear to my heart, and that is food more specifically restaurants and how restaurants can effectively use social media to benefit their marketing
So tip #1 is to be sure that you are always keeping your hours and address up to date on all your social media account and your address so that when people come to visit your profiles they can see it and it’s easily accessible and if there’s any question, it’s easily answered. For them to know what time they can come for breakfast, if you have a happy hour, where they can find your restaurant, that sort of thing.
Tip #2 is to be sure you’re offering social media exclusives to your social media fans, something that you’re only allowing them to have. This could be a coupon or buy-one-get-one-free on an appetizer, that sort of thing that you’re only offering to your social media fans and that they would be more likely to share with other people on social media
#3 is to be sure you’re giving shout-outs to people that you do business with, or people that are coming and eating at your restaurant that have local businesses, it’s just going to create a good customer morale and it’s going to be more likely for them to share things about your business as well.
