Are you new to blogging and already have a little bit of content on your site but you don’t quite know how to boost it up, and get it out there, to draw in a greater audience for your posts.

Well here is a content marketing strategy you can use to better market your content.

First let me say that Online Content Marketing has been, and will continued to be, one of the most important components of your online business.

At the most elementary level, Branded Content Marketing is simply about getting the word out about you and your business and letting folks know that your content exists.

But there is more to it than just sharing your information with those that you know or just optimizing your site with the hope that search engines will do all of the work and drive a ton of visitors to your blog.

You must stay on top of the latest Content Marketing Trends. And most of what I’m about to share won’t cost you a penny.

You’ll just need to invest a little bit of time and effort and have a Content Marketing Plan and people will begin to flock to your site.

Let me start with the concept of Visual Content Marketing.

We live in a visual world, and you must always be taking this into consideration.

There was once a time when you could put up a blog post with a few paragraphs of text and people would immediately embrace your information.

But the “digital” world is evolving so rapidly that now bloggers are expected to tell their stories through videos, images, and infographics.

Studies have shown that 94% of visual content gets more views than textual content, so you should use as much visual content as possible without clogging up your blog with just STUFF.

Next, Focus on Being Social

Have you ever heard any of your friends and associates say things like, “I don’t have time for Facebook”. “What’s all this tweeting about?” “Periscope. What’s that?”

These are people who are obviously NOT in business and if they were, they probably aren’t doing very well. They need to watch a few content marketing videos and get up to speed on a few things.

Because Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Periscope etc etc is where everything is happening these days.

So, if you’re looking for to grow your audience, that’s where you need to be.

But before you go nuts and start uploading your posts all over every social media site, find out where the people in your niche actually hang out.

Of course you should post to your own pages, but share your post in groups and forums specifically targeted to your niche.

If you are a travel blogger, then find some Facebook or LinkedIn groups dedicated to travel and, if allowable, you should share your content with those groups.

That way you’ll be surrounded by people who will want to see what you have to offer insteading of spamming groups that have nothing to do with your niche or topic.

So know your audience and which platform they use the most.

Once you have located your audience, Listen to them.

You may be surprised to learn that your audience wants a different thing than what you have offer.

Pay close attention to the comments being left on your posts.

Focus in on the questions that are coming your way and provide your readers with what they want.

Listening to them will allow you to know how they think, uncover THEIR challenges, and discover what they love.
If you give your audience a chance to guide you, you will never have to worry or wonder about what content you need to deliver.

Lastly, you MUST Obsess over quality.

There is nothing more important than providing quality content. It is the one thing that will set you apart.

If you provide amazing quality content, your audience will promote it for you.
It’s true.

You’ll look up and will see your stuff being re-shared, re-tweeted and re-pined all over the internet simply because it’s GOOD.

And from this, you’ll bring in a whole new audience, one that you didn’t have to go out and get.
